I have a speedboat with a Yamaha 90 outboard. It misfires at about half throttle. Any ideas why? - yamaha speedboat
A cylinder of desertion.
If you mean that * only * misfire at part throttle, works without any problem looking at all other values of the throttle valve, the wiring outside the stator and trigger, after scouring a lack of insight or worn insulation - could be a simple wire or burnt two, play something, not just because of the creation.
If you want to talk about errors, 1 / 2 gas into the gas, take a test. It is a "plug" test - with a dial indicator to determine whether the engine has enough power to produce the spark heavy load to deliver.
Imagine the difference between users of 7 / 16 ", a clip to the engine block so that the plug leads (one at a time) and you will find a large blue, bright spark, if someone turns the ignition key. If you miss a 7 / 16 "out of the bottle is a good indication that everything is in order.
If you get a bad roll cylinder, called (Power Pack as a switch) and can cause the test with a multimeter, but need a manual to determine the specifics of your particular eNgina.
Alternatively, the adjustment or adherence float valve in one of the carbohydrates.
